"The Biblical saga of Joseph and his coat of many colors comes to vibrant life in this delightful musical parable. Joseph, his father’s favorite son, is a boy blessed with prophetic dreams. When he is sold into slavery by his jealous brothers and taken to Egypt, Joseph endures a series of adventures in which his spirit and humanity are continually challenged. He is purchased by Potiphar where thwarting advances from Potiphar’s wife lands him in jail. When news of Joseph’s gift to interpret dreams reaches the Pharaoh (wryly and riotously depicted as Elvis), Joseph is well on his way to becoming second in command. Eventually his brothers, having suffered greatly, unknowingly find themselves groveling at the feet of the brother they betrayed but no longer recognize. After testing their integrity, Joseph reveals himself leading to a heartfelt reconciliation of the sons of Israel. Set to an engaging cornucopia of musical styles, from country-western and calypso to bubble-gum pop and rock ‘n’ roll, this Old Testament tale emerges both timely and timeless."

Joseph Cast hard at work
With a cast and crew of over 50 people, Joseph is a huge undertaking.  The Three Hills Curling rink is currently in the process of being transformed from a sports facility to a Theatre Venue with the addition of our 50 foot stage, thousands of dollars worth of lights, sound, curtains, props and set construction.  With each performer having at least 2 costumes and several others playing 2 or 3 different roles, the magnitude of this production is nothing short of epic.

Joseph is one of the most-performed musicals in history which is a testament to it's wide appeal.  Audiences of all ages from young children to senior citizens will all be delighted by the magic of story, song and dance in Joseph.  We've pulled together an absolutely amazing cast of volunteers who have put literally thousands of hours of their own time into rehearsals.  It's been amazing watching everyone pull together as a community, learning the music, learning to dance, memorizing the choreography and immersing themselves into characters that will have you on the edge of your seat one minute, and laughing uproariously the next.

Directed by Sheila Adkins
Choreography by Ashley Savage
Starring Luke Reinhardt, Jill White, Rachel Culp, Jocelyn Maxwell and many others
